The immediate Past Municipal Chief Executive for Ho, Mr. Prosper Pi-Bansah has died. He is said to have passed on, Monday (Feb. 13) after a short illness.
Mr. Pi-Bansah, believed to be in his early 60s, was appointed MCE in October, 2019, replacing Mr. Nelson Akorli, the first MCE under President Akufo-Addo’s administration in 2017.
The former MCE was also the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Ho Central in the 2020 general elections.
Before his appointment, the deceased was a staff of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Regional office. He was also a onetime Scheme manager at the Ho Municipal office of the NHIA.
Since his exit from office in 2021, sources say, Mr. Pi-Bansah has been in and out of the hospital with varied health conditions.
