Mr. Emmanuel Chance, founder of the renowned Chances Hotel in Ho, has reportedly passed away over the weekend after a brief period of ill-health, VoltaOnline has gathered.
A native of Adaklu Hasu, Mr. Chance was among the pioneering hoteliers in the regional capital, steadily expanding his establishment into one of the largest in the area, with hundreds of rooms that became a landmark in Ho’s hospitality industry. His vision and diligence helped shape the growth of Hospitality industry in the Volta Region.
Beyond his entrepreneurial achievements, he distinguished himself as a philanthropist through the Chances Foundation, which extended interventions in health, education, and economic empowerment. His hometown benefitted from his generosity with the provision of a health centre, a community market, and other supports that uplifted livelihoods.

Family members and close associates have described his passing as a devastating loss, recalling his unwavering commitment to both business excellence and community development.
News of his demise has also been received with shock by acquaintances, including members of the media fraternity and the wider public, who admired his entrepreneurial spirit and generosity.
