Chiefs of the Anlo State have expressed their willingness and support to government for the burial of the Late former President Jerry John Rawlings.
In an interview with Agbotadua Kumasah, Spokesperson for the WarLord of Anlo, Torgbui Agbeshi Awusu II, he said the Anlo State and it’s Chiefs will offer maximum support to government in burying the late President who doubles as one of the Chiefs of Anlo.
He however noted that, traditional activities will be performed for the late President as customs demand prior to the burial of a Chief of Anlo State.
Agbotadua Kumasah also stated that, the Chiefs have plans underway to organize a funeral for the late President in Keta after his burial.
The new date for the burial of the former President Rawlings in 27 January this year.
