Some parts of Volta Region will on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, experience an interruption in power supply.
Parts of Middle and northern belts of the region including Ho, Kpeve, Kpando, Hohoe, Jasikan, Dambai and Nkwanta Municipalities will have their power supply interrupted from 9:00am-5:00pm.
The interruption according to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is to allow for maintenance works. ECG is therefore, appealing to customers who will be affected to bear with the Company.
The communiqué which was issued over the weekend read:
“The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited wishes to inform its valued customers and the general public that, there will be an interruption in power supply on Wednesday, 9th May, 2018 from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
This is to enable the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO) carry out maintenance works on its network.
Areas to be affected are: Ho, Kpeve, Kpando, Hohoe, Jasikan, Dambai, Nkwanta Municipalities and their environs.
ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise.”
