Last Wednesday’s heavy rainstorm disaster which hit part of the Ho Municipality has left three persons injured.
The victims- all women sustained various degrees of injury after their local eatry located opposite the Ho Municipal Hospital, was crushed by a fallen mango tree during the storm.
They were extricated from the crushed structure by officials of the Ghana National Fire Service and rushed to the hospital.
They have since been responding to treatment.
Mr. Divine Bosson, the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, who cut short a workshop in Koforidua to respond to the disaster, assured the victims of the necessary assistance for their recuperation.
He also assured all affected residents and institutions, especially schools of material support towards reconstruction.
The 25-minute downpour, brought down giant billboards, ripped off buildings and uprooted trees, which disrupted electricity supply in some areas and also caused temporary blockade on some roads.
