Ghanaian boxer Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe has returned to Accra after spending the last several weeks training and camping in the Volta Region for his title defence and rematch against Emmanuel Navarrete on May 11 in Arizona, USA.

The former World Champion moved camp to the serene part of the country in order to keep a laser sharp focus for the task ahead and now he feels ready that he can reclaim his title which he lost last December.

Isaac and the entire Team Dogboe will hold a final press conference at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, on April 20 before emplaning to the United States where he will put finishing touches to this training and preparations before the big fight which comes off at the Convention Center, Tucson, Arizona, USA.

The final presser is to formally inform Ghanaians about his preparedness and readiness for his bout and assure his fans that he is in good condition to right the wrongs of his last fight.

Dogboe is fully aware that he needs to reclaim his world title if he has any chance of becoming the pay per view champion that he has been craving for since becoming a professional almost seven years ago.

In a recent interview, Isaac Dogboe hinted that he plans on moving up in weight if he is able to reclaim his title from Navarrete next month.

Dogboe, also known in boxing circles as the Royal Storm, stated that he would prefer unifying the super bantamweight division after reclaiming the title, then move up to the featherweight class to challenge any of the world champions.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian admitted to struggling to make the required 122 pounds in his last fight with Navarrete four months ago at the Madison Square Garden in New York where he lost his title via a unanimous decision.
