The President of the Volta Region House of Chiefs has called on President John Dramani Mahama to consider individuals from the region in his government.
In a congratulatory message to Mr. Mahama on his historic election victory, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV, President of the House, emphasized that “our Region deserves its fair share of priorities as outlined in your manifesto,” and requested that he “consider our sons and daughters in forming your team, and to ensure that the Region is represented adequately in doing so.”
He highlighted the importance of representation, noting that individuals from the region would serve as role models for the youth and support the new government’s agenda.
Togbe Tepre Hodo IV also pledged the House of Chiefs’ support for the new administration and expressed its willingness to collaborate on nation-building efforts.
“We look forward to working collaboratively with your administration to address the challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead… under your guidance, we can foster development that aligns with the needs of the people, ensuring that no community is left behind.”
