Teacher Trainees from the Volta Sector of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG Volta) has been involved in a gory accident on the Eastern Corridor road.

The Accident  occurred at about 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 25,2018 around Nkwanta in the Volta Region when the trainees were travelling to Pusiga in the Upper East Region to attend the 23rd Annual General Assembly of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) hosted by the Gbewaa College Of Education.

The Trainees were coming from the Amedzope E. P College of Education where they had their Sector General Assembly.

Information gathered indicated that, some six students sustained various degrees of injury and  are currently receiving treatment  at a nearby hospital.

In a related development, the SRC President of Gbewaa College of Education, met his untimely death through a motor accident few weeks to the General Assembly being hosted by his College.
