The Ghana Education Service (GES) in Keta has confirmed stringent measures put in place to reopening schools in the municipality.
This follows government’s initiative to reopen Junior High, Senior High and Tertiary Schools in the Country this year.
In an engagement with the Municipal Public Relations Officer of the GES, Mr. Amuzu Ferdinand, he indicated that they have made conscious efforts to ensure that students observe the COVID-19 protocols when schools reopen.
He said their outfit has initiated means to providing Nose Masks for the students and teachers in all schools in the the municipality.
He further added that buckets with water, soap and tissue papers will also be provided in all schools to drive home the frequent hand washing activities.
Mr. Amuzu highlighted that both Headmasters and Teachers in the municipality have been engaged to ensure the strict adherence to the protocols.
He therefore urged parents to also offer their support in the fight against the corona virus in whichever way they can.
