Hundreds of workers from various labour unions under the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in the Volta Region gathered today, 1st May at the Jubilee Park in Ho to celebrate this year’s Labour Day.

Labour groups such as Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), MidWife Association, Tertiary Workers Union (TEWU) among others were represented.

Inscriptions on held out placards of workers that the cameras of voltaonlinegh.com captured suggested a call on government to work towards attainment of sustainable development goals.

Just  like the theme of this year’s event, “Sustainable Development Goals and Decent Work: The Role of Social Partners”, the workers want more from government.
