The New Patriotic Party Regional Executives Elections in the Volta Region has been successfully undertake despite a court injunction by one disqualified candidate, George Kofi Boateng who contested for the Regional chairmanship.
The newly elected Chairman to lead the NPP in the region is, Makafui Kofi Woanyah, who was the regional party organizer.
He was elected alongside Kofi Adjei Ntim as his 1st Vice and Abdallah Mohammed Sadiq as his 2nd Vice.
Joseph Homenya retained the position of Party Secretary with Joshua Makubu being elected as his Assistant Secretary.
The Party also retained Joseph Dente as it’s Treasurer, while the Director of Elections for the 2016 General Election in the Volta Region, Emmanuel Korsi Bodja pulled a surprise to win the office of Regional Organizer and Afi Agyagbo as Women Organizer.
Aliu Bashiru Sharubutu was also elected as NASARA Regional Coordinator, while King David Ninkab Nkabonam wining the position of Party Youth Organizer.

Regional Secretary – Joseph Homenya (Incumbent)
Assistant Secretary- Joshua Makabu (incumbent)
Regional Treasurer- Joseph Dente (incumbent)
Regional Organizer- Emmanuel Korsi Bodja
Women Organizer- Afia Agyagbo
Nasara Coordinator- Aliu Bashiru Sharabutu
Youth Organizer- King David Ninkab Nkabom (unopposed).
