The management of Ho Municipal Assembly has held a 2-day retreat to strategise for the new year – 2023.
The event, an initiative of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Divine Bosson, took place at the Sky Plus Hotel, Ho from Friday, January 13 to Saturday, January 14 2023.
According the MCE, the retreat was to afford management the opportunity to take stock of the past year, and strategise for the New Year.
He commended the assembly officers for their cooperation and dedication to duty in spite the challenges of last year, and further encouraged them to put in their maximum best in the New Year to enhance service delivery to residents.
Hon. Bosson was also optimistic that, the outcome of the retreat would help in effective and efficient management of the Assembly and its resources.
The Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa, who opened the session, applauded the MCE for the initiative, describing it as novel in the region.
He entreat them to use the retreat to prepare for the challenges of 2023, while sticking to the assembly’s plans for the year. In addition, he urged them to apply fairly all laws and bylaws of the assembly.
Dr. Letsa further commended the current leadership of the Assembly for their proactiveness managing affairs of the municipality, which, he noted has shielded and protected him from attack.
The 2-day retreat was facilitated by resource persons the Evangelical Presbyterian University College, Ho, Attorney General’s Department, and Ghana Revenue Authority.
