Mrs Dzifa Attivor, a former minister of transport has died. She is reported to have passed on Tuesday morning in Accra, after a period of illness.
Madam Attivor, 65, who was a minister under the erstwhile Mahama led NDC government, was the founder of Ho based radio and television stations – Global FM and Volta 1 TV, the Region’s first television.
As a proud native of Abutia in the Ho West District, ‘Daa Dzifa’ as she is affectionately called, was very instrumental in issues of development in the area and the region as a whole.
She dedicated her media platforms to project the rich cultural and tourism potentials of the Volta region to the rest of the world.
Madam Attivor was also an active member and financier of the National Democratic Congress in the region.
