The Dzodze Urban Council has urged residents to, as a matter of urgency, adhere to the safety protocols for the containment of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The call follows the appropriate measures indicated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to put an end to the spread of the virus.
In a statement signed by the Urban Council Chairman, Hon. Christian Quaku Tornyo, they noted that the council shall ensure the strict adherence of the protocols at funeral grounds, Schools and Markets in the community.
They added that churches, chop bars and other public places would not be exempted.
The council noted that, there have been non-compliance at most public places in the community therefore the need to enforce the law on whoever would be found culpable.
The Council therefore solicits the support from all the people of Dzodze and its environs to fight the disease so as to make Dzodze community safe and icon of good reference for other communities in the Ketu North Municipality.
