The Chiefs and People of Akpafu and Lolobi Traditional Areas have jointly written a letter to the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, seeking for clarity on their Election 2020 voting status.
In a two-page petition sighted by voltaonlinegh, The chiefs and citizens living in the Akpafu and Lolobi Traditional Areas expressed worry over the organization of the just ended 2020 general elections in the areas.
According to the letter signed by S.K.T Owusu on behalf of the Chiefs and people of the two traditional council, this particular letter dated December 16, 2020 is a followup to the former petition forwarded to the office of the EC on November 27, 2020.
They explained that, the EC’s combined effort in the organization of the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections have effectively resulted in disenfranchising citizens in these two traditional areas and further demanded answers to some four questions from the Electoral Commission
