Members of the Ho Municipal Assembly have endorsed the President’s nominee, Mr. Divine Komla Bosson as Ho Municipal Chief Executive.
A total of 36 members out of the 42-member assembly, representing 86 percent, voted in favour of the nominee, to enable him secure the top political job at the assembly.
The confirmation poll was conducted on Monday by officials of the Electoral Commission, was monitored by the Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa and host of other government and party functionaries.
In his acceptance speech, the new MCE thanked the assembly members for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work with them closely for the advancement of the municipality.
He promised to run a participatory administration and called for the support of all stakeholders to address the challenges confronting the assembly and the municipality.
Mr. Bosson’s endorsement brings to seven, the number of MDCEs who have so far been confirmed by their respective assembly since the start of the confirmation exercise last Thursday.
They are, Mr. Edmund Kudjo Attah – North Dayi, Geoffrey Badasu – Kpando, Noble Daniel Awume-Hohoe, James Etornam Flolu – Afadzato South, Ernest Victor Apau- Ho West and Godwin Dadzawa – South Dayi.
