Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Keta, Godwin Edudzi Effah has completed a tour of all electoral areas in the municipality.
The week-long tour which ended on Friday, July 26 was to mark Mr. Effah’s 100 days in office as MCE for the area.
Accompanying the MCE on his tour included government appointees of Keta Municipal Assembly, Elikem Sewordor, Papa Gobah and Clemence Ansah.
The visits afforded the MCE the opportunity to interact with his people and discuss pressing issues including livelihood improvement in the municipality.
Speaking to the people, he assured that such visits would be regular during his tenure so that he could get to know about the real issues of importance to them in order that together, they could help take the municipality to the level it deserved.
Mr. Effah used the opportunity to brief citizens of the municipality on some developmental projects that the assembly in partnership with key stakeholders was working to achieve to benefit the people.
These projects included a new Town Hall for Keta, Abor Magistrate Court and Astro Turf at Keta. Others were a concrete bridge at Agorvinu, classroom blocks at Sasieme, Lawoshime and Aborlove-Nolopi.
He also mentioned a two-storey hostel facility for Keta Nursing and Midwifery Training College as an additional facility in the offing.
