Management of Malisanat Hotel and Gardens, a popular restaurant and pub in Sokode near Ho, are counting their losses as fire destroyed the facility  Wednesday afternoon.

The fire which started around around 2pm according  to eye Witness left no property behind.

The eyewitness’ report further said the  Fire started  from the top of the thatch building when a passerby raised  alarm to signal workers to moved out of the building.

“if the Ghana Fire Service personnel were to come on time all properties  will not be destroyed  to this extend”

Before personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service finally  arrived, the fire has escalated into the entire buildings destroying  all belonging of the facility.

Speaking with the in charge of the facility, Regina Amenorpe, she said even though  there were no casualties,  properties costing  millions  of Ghana cedis were destroyed  by the  Fire.

She noted that item including 5 refrigerators stocked with drinks, 1  Freezer, plastic chairs and tables,  registration documents and unspecified amount of money were all consumed by the fire.

When Voltaonlinegh.com visited the scene of the incident, worker were seen devastated as their livelihood  have been cut short by the fire.

However, official are  yet to establish the cause of the fire.
