The Regional manager of the Volta Ghana Red Cross Society, Mr. Gershon Koffi Dzokoto has appealed to Ghana ICT Skills Hub (GISH) foundation to find a way to adopt some youth in the Volta region so that, these youth can benefit from GISH’s international voluntary program.

He made this appeal during a presentation of some books and stationery to the Volta Regional Red Cross Library by GISH foundation as part of their “Ubuntu” project activities.

According to Mr Dzokoto,  his outfit is ever ready to welcome the GISH foundation in such project.

However, the Regional Vice Chairman of the Red Cross Society, Mr. Wilson Dordzi, said the gesture has been a surprise to them as he noted that, most people think they will only see Red Cross material when they visit their library.

He observed that, with these books and others, the interest of reading will be inculcated among the young ones.

He also called on stakeholders and other benevolent individuals and groups to assist them renovate their library structure.
