Ketu North Police Identifies 30 Flashpoints Ahead of December Polls

The Ketu North District Police Commander, DSP Christian Dogbatse has disclosed that the Police Service has identified about 30 flashpoints in the Municipality ahead of the 2020 General Elections.

Speaking at the Inter Party Dialogue Committee inauguration ceremony in the Ketu North Municipality, he said, the identification was part of efforts to be on top of security issues before, during and after the December polls

He said, his command will do everything possible to deploy Officers to man the flashpoints as well as all Polling Centers in the Municipality.

He noted that, it is the duty of the Police to maintain law and order which includes security during elections and assures that, his command will make sure no violence is recorded in Ketu North.

Meanwhile all participants and various Political Parties present at the inauguration ceremony resolved to support the NCCE in its activities of Education and organization of Parliamentary Debate in a fortnight.
