The last match for the day will be between EPUC male and Sokode Senior High Technical (SOSTECH) at 3:00pm.

The male category table also have HTU top with 4 points and closely followed by Stars of Asha and Saint Prosper’s SHS (PROSCO) who are all with 4 points. Mawuli is 4th with 2 points and EPUC is bottom with no point.

The Volta Regional Handball Association, (VRHA) is planning a one day justifier in May, to pick players to represent the region at the upcoming National Sports Festival in July.

The region before the start of their maiden league had a similar exercise which led them to win bronze in both male and female categories at last year’s event in Kumasi.

The region being the second to be having an organised league in Handball after Greater Accra, hopes to do better at this year’s festival despite their financial difficulties.

They are however, still working on landing sponsorship for the league and their participation at the National Sports Festival.
